Happy Easter!

Kids and bunnies are not necessarily a good match - As with
all pets, do your research in advance and select a pet that will
be a good match for your family's lifestyle and energy.

Other than being soft and cute, what do bunnies actually do? Oh, yeah, they also pee and poop -- one of my law school classmates had one, and even though she had a litterbox, it would constantly go on her mattress. I think bunnies are better off hopping around the forest.

They are the ultimate TEASE pets. "Oh look at how soft and cuddly I am, see me twitch my nose and hop around so irresistibly but DON'T pick me up and hug me, I HATE that!"

And what's with people giving kids baby chicks at Easter? Yeah, they're cute and fluffy too, but they're even worse than bunnies -- pet them too hard and...oops. Stick to the marshmallow kind. Unless there's a coop out back.

Chicks I would describe as a "false advertising" pet: little, fuzzy, yellow, peeping and cute then BOOM - transform into something that is none of those things and like a totally different creature.
