Guinea pigs are also a cuddly choice for a meal in South America.
In Peru, they have this festival where they dress guinea pigs up hats and clothes. They literally have a guinea pig fashion show.
But when that's over, they eat them!

OK I'm absolutely on board with respecting the traditions of other cultures yadda yadda yadda but the picture in that article is too much. I don't know if I should laugh or cry or just run out and buy a Guinea Pig and reassure him daily that I'll never dress him up in a costume or eat him.
