Well now:
A Sioux City councilman's dog that has been deemed vicious and could be euthanized is missing from an animal shelter.Yep, no suspects. And I bet there aren't going to BE any suspects either. Not now, not ever. Just sayin'.
Police say someone broke into the shelter Sunday afternoon and stole Jake, a 3-year-old yellow Labrador retriever, from an outdoor kennel. No other animals were taken.
Lt. Mark Kirkpatrick says there are no suspects as of Monday and the dog hasn't been found.

RIDICULOUS!!!!!
oh, it was obviously stolen by some bitter pit bull owner/dogfighter (one and the same) , to use as a bait dog...
I'm sure we can expect the ransom note any minute now.
That story is jelly. I love the fact that he found the same thing he's trying to eliminate with his act in his own home (aggressive dogs).
Most of us know that what's important to avoid dog violence is to have a mentally healthy, well balanced, fulfilled dog, regardless of breed. Obviously, both from the fact that his dog attacked someone and from the act the councilman is pushing, he doesn't know anything about having a mentally healthy dog or its importance.
Has anyone heard if the good councilman has gotten a "new" adult male yellow Lab?
